This Equipment Lease Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between [Lessor Name] ("Lessor") and [Lessee Name] ("Lessee"), for the lease of: [Description of Equipment, including make/model/serial number].
This lease begins on [Start Date] and ends on [End Date], with [Renewal Terms, if any].
Lessee agrees to pay [Amount] per [month/week/day], plus a refundable security deposit of [Amount].
Lessee will use the equipment only for [Permitted Use] and only at [Location, if restricted], and will comply with all operating instructions and applicable safety regulations.
Lessee is responsible for routine maintenance and any damage beyond normal wear and tear. Lessor is responsible for [Lessor’s Maintenance Responsibilities, if any, e.g. mechanical failure not caused by misuse].
Lessee will maintain insurance covering the equipment’s replacement value during the lease term and is responsible for loss, theft, or damage while in Lessee’s possession, ordinary wear and tear excepted.
Lessee will return the equipment in the condition received, ordinary wear and tear excepted, by the end of the lease term. Late returns are billed at [Rate] per day.
