This Roommate Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between the following co-tenants of [Property Address]: [Roommate Names] (collectively, "Roommates").
Total rent of [Total Amount] per month is split as follows: [Split — e.g. equally, or by room]. Each Roommate’s share of the security deposit is [Split].

Roommates agree to the following arrangement for shared chores and common-area upkeep: [Description or Attachment].
Overnight guests staying more than [Number] consecutive nights require advance notice to other Roommates. Quiet hours are [Hours].
Shared items purchased jointly ([List]) remain joint property; disposition upon a Roommate moving out is described in Section 7.
A Roommate who wishes to move out before the end of the underlying lease term agrees to give [Number] days’ notice to the other Roommates and to help find a suitable replacement, subject to the Landlord’s approval where the lease requires it.
Roommates agree to first attempt to resolve disagreements directly before involving the Landlord or outside parties.
