This Volunteer Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between [Organization Name] ("Organization") and [Volunteer Name] ("Volunteer"), who will serve as [Volunteer Role].
Volunteer’s expected schedule is [Schedule], at [Location], beginning [Start Date].
Volunteer understands this is an unpaid volunteer role and does not create an employment relationship, and Volunteer is not entitled to wages, benefits, or workers’ compensation coverage except as required by [State / Jurisdiction] law.
Volunteer voluntarily assumes any risks associated with volunteer activities and releases Organization from claims arising from participation, except for claims arising from Organization’s gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent permitted by law.
Volunteer agrees to keep confidential any non-public information about Organization or the people it serves encountered while volunteering.
Either party may end this volunteer arrangement at any time, for any reason.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of [State / Jurisdiction].
