Worth knowing going in: a general partnership typically exposes each partner to personal liability for the business's debts and the other partners' actions taken on its behalf, unless you've formed a different structure (like an LLC). The capital contributions and profit/loss split (Sections 3-4) should reflect what's actually agreed, since courts default to an equal split if the agreement is silent or vague — and the dissolution section (Section 8) is what determines how a disagreement that can't be resolved actually gets unwound.

Each partner's capital contribution, how profits and losses are split, who handles day-to-day management versus what needs a vote, how distributions get paid out, a process for admitting new partners or a partner withdrawing (including how their stake gets valued), and dissolution terms. Since general partners are typically personally liable for the business, it's worth being deliberate about the management and decision-making sections.

You can edit it directly — ownership percentages, profit splits, and decision-making terms are all placeholders you fill in with any PDF editor, or inside SignFastAi via "Sign this online for free."

This page provides the partnership agreement text. Getting every partner's signature on it is handled separately by SignFastAi's e-signature tool.
