Event Planning Agreement

1. Parties & Event Details

This Event Planning Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between [Planner Name] ("Planner") and [Client Name] ("Client"), for the event described as [Event Description] on [Event Date] at [Venue].

2. Scope of Services

Planner will provide the following services: [Description — e.g. vendor sourcing, budget management, day-of coordination].

3. Budget & Vendor Coordination

Planner will work within a total event budget of approximately [Amount], and will obtain Client’s approval before booking vendors or committing funds beyond [Threshold].

4. Fees & Payment Schedule

5. Vendor Contracts

Unless otherwise agreed, contracts with third-party vendors (caterers, venues, etc.) are between Client and those vendors directly; Planner acts as coordinator, not guarantor, of vendor performance.

6. Cancellation & Postponement

If Client cancels or postpones the event, the deposit is non-refundable, and Planner will be paid for services rendered up to the cancellation date. Rescheduling is subject to Planner’s availability.

7. Liability

Planner is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance failures of third-party vendors, or for circumstances beyond Planner’s reasonable control (weather, venue issues, etc.).

8. Governing Law & Signatures
