Pet Sitting / Dog Walking Agreement

1. Parties & Pet(s)

This Pet Sitting / Dog Walking Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between [Pet Owner Name] ("Owner") and [Sitter/Walker Name] ("Sitter"), for the care of: [Pet Name(s), breed, age].

2. Services & Schedule

Sitter will provide [Services — e.g. daily walks, feeding, litter box cleaning] on the following schedule: [Schedule], at [Owner’s home / other location].

3. Compensation

Owner agrees to pay Sitter [Rate] per [visit/walk/day], due [Timing].

4. Home Access

Owner will provide access via [Method — e.g. key, lockbox code]. Sitter agrees to secure the home after each visit and to use the property only as needed to perform the Services.

5. Care Instructions

Feeding, medication, and other care instructions are described in [Attachment]. Owner will inform Sitter of any behavioral considerations (e.g. reactivity, escape risk).

6. Emergency Veterinary Care

In case of injury or illness, Sitter will contact Owner and, if needed, take the pet to [Veterinarian Name/Clinic] or the nearest emergency vet. Owner authorizes necessary emergency treatment and agrees to reimburse Sitter for reasonable vet costs advanced on Owner’s behalf.

7. Liability

Sitter will exercise reasonable care. Owner acknowledges pets can behave unpredictably and releases Sitter from liability for incidents outside Sitter’s reasonable control, except in cases of Sitter’s negligence.

8. Cancellation

Either party may cancel a scheduled visit with [Number] hours’ notice.
