This Storage Unit Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of [Effective Date] between [Facility Name] ("Facility") and [Renter Name] ("Renter"), for unit [Unit Number] at [Facility Address].
This rental is month-to-month, beginning [Start Date], at [Amount] per month, due on the [Day] of each month.
Renter may access the unit during [Access Hours], using [Access Method — e.g. gate code, key].
Renter agrees not to store hazardous, flammable, illegal, or perishable items, or to use the unit as a residence.
Facility does not insure Renter’s stored items. Renter is encouraged to obtain their own insurance; Facility’s liability for loss or damage is limited to [Coverage, if any].
Rent unpaid more than [Number] days after the due date incurs a late fee of [Amount]. Facility may deny access and, as permitted by [State / Jurisdiction] law, place a lien on and sell the contents to recover unpaid rent after proper notice.
Either party may terminate this rental with [Number] days’ written notice. Renter must remove all belongings and return access devices by the termination date.
