Two clauses do the real work here: the license-until-payment structure (the client can use the work under license before full payment, but ownership only transfers once payment clears) and the kill fee for cancelled projects. Fill in a real revision cap too — 'unlimited revisions' left implicit is the single most common source of scope disputes on creative projects, so this template deliberately caps it and bills extras separately.

At minimum: a description of the deliverables and file formats, a capped number of revision rounds with a rate for extras, a payment structure with a deposit and a kill fee for mid-project cancellation, ownership and usage rights that transfer on full payment, and whether the freelancer can keep the work in their portfolio. This is built for design/creative-specific concerns a generic services agreement doesn't cover, like portfolio rights and revision limits.

Yes. Scope, deliverables, revision rounds, and payment terms are all editable with any PDF editor, or you can load it straight into SignFastAi to fill in and send.

This page hands you the contract text. SignFastAi's e-signature tool is the separate step that gets your client's actual signature on it.
