The clause worth understanding clearly is the no-tax-advice disclaimer — unless separately stated, the bookkeeper is not a licensed CPA or attorney under this agreement and isn't providing tax preparation, filing, or legal advice, so the client should line up a separate professional for those. Also scope the account access carefully: read-only or accountant-level access is the standard, safer default rather than full account control.

At minimum: a description of the services covered (transaction categorization, reconciliation, financial statements) and the software used, a monthly fee or hourly rate, the level of account access granted, confidentiality over financial data, a reporting deliverable and deadline, and an explicit statement that tax preparation and legal advice fall outside the engagement unless separately agreed.

Absolutely. Add your service scope, fee schedule, and access/confidentiality terms in any PDF editor, or click "Sign this online for free" to fill it in inside SignFastAi before sending.

This page is just the contract. Once it's filled in, SignFastAi's core tool is what actually gets your client's signature — upload it, mark the signature field, send a secure link.
